(17:40) SANTA CRUZ- A Santa Cruz County jury convicted a Soquel man on child molestation charges yesterday (Thurs). 60 year old Steven Weissman was convicted on 15 counts of child molestation including, aggravated sexual assault upon a child, oral copulation of a child under 10, and lewd acts upon a child under 14. Weissman used his position as a voluntary yard duty supervisor, big brother and foster parent to assault 6 victims over a 20 year period. He faces life in prison when he sentenced on November 4th.
