A semi-truck with 2-attached trailers went off of soquel-san jose road thursday afternoon, causing c-h-p to close the road for several hours. The driver lost control at about 4:15 p.m., and slid about 100 feet down an embankment. chp sergeant juan cervantes told ksco that the driver is believed to have been speeding at the time. The driver suffered minor injuries in the incident. about 40 to 50 gallons of fuel leaked into soquel creek after the truck’s gas tank was punctured. the trailers were empty. 2 towing companies worked into the night to try to haul the truck and trailers up from the embankment.
