Residents of Seaside are continuing to keep the focus on the recent out breaks of gang violence. Last week about 50 residents to the streets with signs to keep the issue of violence at the fore front of community awareness. The group intends to hold similar marches in the future in neighborhoods mostly affected by gangs with the aim getting more people involved in finding a solution to the problem. Community members are invited to attend the City’s Violence Suppression Task Force Meeting at 6:30 p.m. February 26th at the Oldmeyer Center.
