A Seaside man has been charged with the November 10th slaying of a 26-year old man. 22-year old Donald Ray Parker pled not guilty yesterday to murder and personal use of a firearm after Dwayne Choates Junior was found lying in a walkway in the 1500 block of Yosemite Street with fatal gunshot wounds. Parker was arrested Wednesday at Monterey County Jail where he was being held on an alleged parole violation. A preliminary hearing is slated for February 3rd.
