A 24-year old felon was taken into custody today on charges of molesting a 5-year old girl earlier this month. Octavio Jimenez Garcia was arrested from the city of Seaside after police received a report on December 17th of lewd and lascivious acts allegedly committed on the child. Police say Jimenez-Garcia is a deported felon who is in the country illegally. Deportation proceedings for Jimenez-Garcia have already begun.
