A seaside man has been sentenced for his part in a Ponzi scheme. 66 year-old Michael Swanson (who was convicted of 28 felony counts of conspiracy and mail, wire and securities fraud), was sentenced to spend 3 years in Federal Prison. Swanson has also been ordered to pay nearly 3 million dollars in victim restitution, and turn himself in to a designated federal prison on June 27th.
