A 24-year old Seaside man has been sentenced to spend 10-years in prison for a rape case that occurred last year on Halloween. Luis Sanchez reportedly violently attacked and physically assaulted a woman leaving a Halloween party prior to raping her. The judge ruled that the crimes committed in this case constituted 2 separate strikes” under California’s 3-Strike-Law. The convictions will require Sanchez to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
