A Seaside residence will have to be demolished due to extensive fire damage. The fire broke out on the 1200 blocl of Hamilton Avenue at 4:30 p-m, when a resident heard a noise in the laundry room followed by flames. Pg&E was called to cut gas service to the structure. The Seaside Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
