Seaside police plan to use drones to crack down on illegal fireworks. The drones will help officers find areas and homes where the illegal fireworks are being fired from. The department plans to deploy plainclothes officers in the field alongside unmarked vehicles. Use of illegal fireworks come with a fine of $2,500 in Seaside.
