Seal Pupping Season is in full swing along the Central Coast. Because too much noise can disrupt the seals, or completely scare them away, people walking near the pupping areas are asked to stay behind the fences; while kayakers are asked to stay a safe distance away from the seals as well. So far there have been 6 seal pups born this season in the Monterey Bay Area, and several more are expected over the next 2 months.
