It’s seal pupping time on the central coast. People are asked to stay at least 50 feet away from Harbor and Elephant Seals. People are also asked not to fly drones within 50 feet of the marine animals. If one of the pups appears to be ill or injured, people are asked not to intervene, but rather to call the Marine Mammal Center’s 24-hour rescue hotline at: (415) 289 – seal.
