THE 35 AILING SEA LIONS (FOUND OFF THE MONTEREY COAST), THAT ARE BEING TREATED AT THE MARINE MAMMAL CENTER, ARE REPORTEDLY SUFFERING FROM DOMOIC ACID POISONING. THE CREATURES WERE REPORTEDLY SUFFERING SEIZURES WHEN THEY WERE FOUND. THAT’S JUST ONE OF THE POSSIBLE SYMPTOMS OF THE POISONING. AT THIS TIME, ALL OF THOSE SEA LIONS ARE EXPECTED TO RECOVER.
