On Sunday Santa Cruz County Sheriffs Deputies were busy with a felon who was found to have evaded a traffic stop.
The suspect, Andrew Perez, was found climbing on a roof and hopping through several back yards to escape.
Thanks to the help of Santa Cruz Police, a perimeter was set and deputies were able to locate Perez.
He was found with a loaded firearm, body armor, high capacity magazines, and was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail.
