Santa Cruz Police are investigating a series of armed robberies that targeted businesses late Wednesday night.
There were at least four incidents that occurred beginning around 9:30 PM. One at the 2300 block of Mission Street, another at the 400 block of Barson Street, one at the 1300 block of Ocean Street and another at the 300 block of Soquel Avenue.
The robbers demanded cash from victims inside commercial businesses. Weapons were used during the robberies, which took about an hour to complete the four incidents.
