This morning, a Scotts Valley Police Officer noticed the driver of a Cadillac who is known to have a suspended driver’s license.
The officer conducted a traffic stop along with a K-9 search.
When Atlas (The K-9 Unit for Scotts Valley PD) conducted a sniff of the vehicle, the officer was alerted of a positive test for narcotics.
Upon full search of the vehicle, a false compartment was found that revealed methamphetamine, paraphernalia, stolen items such as identifications that did not belong to the driver.
Watsonville resident Juan Hipolito who was driving the vehicle was arrested and booked on 5 misdemeanors, 1 felony, and was issued a probation hold.
