(11:23) SCOTTS VALLEY- The City of Scotts Valley has chosen an interim police chief. Lieutenant Steve Walpole Junior will take over as acting police chief on December 9th for the retiring Chief John Weiss who has been serving in the position since 2006. The interim police chief, Steve Walpole Junior’s father served as police chief in Scotts Valley from 1986 until 2001.
