THE CITY OF SCOTTS VALLEY HAS APPROVED PLANS FOR A MUSEUM BUILDING. THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVED THE OCTAGON PROJECT WEDNESDAY NIGHT. THE BUILDING WOULD HOUSE THE SCOTTS VALLEY HISTORICAL SOCIETY MUSEUM. THE MUSEUM WILL BE BUILT IN A VACANT LOT ON CIVIC CENTER DRIVE NEAR THE CITY’S WATER DISTRICT. THE PROJECT WILL BE FINANCED BY THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY AND CITY SUBSIDIES.
