Over 100 schools in Santa Cruz county are not holding classes this week, covering nearly all schools within the Santa Cruz County school districts.
In Monterey County, over 200 schools are closed, with Salinas High being the most notable as they originally planned to hold classes prior to the weekend.
As for San Benito County, about 40 schools are not holding classes in person as well.
