The shelter in place order has been lifted in the area around Old Santa Cruz Highway and Lexington School Road. The Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Department was looking for a suspect accused of leading officers and deputies on a chase.
They had received a lead that the suspect may be in the area, but investigators now believe that the suspect may have left. The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office said there is currently no risk to the public.
