Santa cruz county supervisors reportedly plan to go ahead with a plan to regulate medical marijuana dispensaries. Supervisors are seeking to license dispensaries through a series of regulations that are yet to be finalized. However a state appellate court ruled last week that local governments cannot issue such permits, because of the conflict with federal law. The issue could ultimately by decided by the California supreme court.
