Come May third when the Santa Cruz County shelter in place ends… many restrictions could possibly also end.
County health officer Dr. Gail newel says she’s working with 13 other health officers around the San Francisco bay area on a less restrictive plan to help control the corona virus.
The top doc says she would like to allow outside workers like gardeners and construction workers back to work along with providing summer child care.
Newel says no plans have been finalized yet and she’s hopeful there will be a less restrictive protocol by May third.
