SC Sheriff 4th of July -6/30/19-1415-PMD

 

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s office has announced increased 4th of July safety measures. More than 70 officers will be deployed to enforce priority violations. Enforcement priorities include possession of fireworks, public intoxication, consuming alcohol in public and open containers. Fines may be up to $1,000-dollar for certain violations. Public intoxication is also a priority and violators will be jailed to ensure a safe holiday for county residents.
