SC, SB and M County Measures 11-04-20 06:22 S.S.

Santa Cruz county’s Measures A (The Scotts Valley Unified School District Bond Measure) and N (the Loma Prieta Joint Union Elementary School District Parcel Tax) both fell short of the percentages  they both needed for approval.

59.38 percent of voters said no to San Benito County’s Measure N (which is the Strada Verde Specific Plan that would change thousands of acres of agricultural land into commercial property)

Measure O in Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito counties appears to have gotten the 55  percent (Super Majority) that it needed for approval…..which means that there should soon be money to repair wiring and plumbing in the Aromas-San Juan School District.

In Monterey county, Measures I and U appear to have failed, while all the rest appear to have been approved by voters.  Measure I was the San Miguel Joint Union School District Elementary School District Classroom Renovation and Technology Improvement Bond, while Measure U would have meant an increase in Sales Tax (from 1 to 1.5 percent) on the retail sales of goods in Sand City.
