The public is invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony in Santa Cruz. The Trestle Trail project is being completed ahead of schedule. It is expected to open to the public by this end of Friday ( May 17). On Wednesday, May 22nd community members along with city and county officials will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony from 12:15 until 12:45 p-m at the San Lorenzo River Railroad Trestle Bridge for the new 10 feet wide multi-use trail bridge. Event attendees may park free of charge at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk parking lot at the intersection of Beach and 3rd streets provided they mention “ribbon-cutting” at the gate.
