A SANTA CRUZ GANG MEMBER WANTED FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER WAS ARRESTED THURSDAY NIGHT. AT ABOUT 10:30 P-M OFFICERS PULLED A CAR OVER ON THE 1-HUNDRED BLOCK OF TRINITY STREET, OFFICERS RECOGNIZED THE DRIVER AS 18 YEAR JOSE XILONZOCHILT WANTED FOR SHOOTING 4 PEOPLE INCLUDING A PREGNANT WOMAN ON MAY 19TH. AS OFFICERS TRIED TO ARREST THE SUSPECT HE GRABBED FOR AN OFFICERS GUN AND WAS TASED BEFORE HE COULD BE SUBDUED. 1 OF THE OFFICERS WAS INJURED IN THE STRUGGLE. XILONZOCHILT WAS BOOKED INTO SANTA CRUZ COUNTY JAIL ON ATTEMPTED MURDER, ATTEMPTING TO TAKE A PEACE OFFICER’S FIREARM, NARCOTICS AND RESISTING ARREST.
