Yesterday morning, Santa Cruz police received a video of a porch pirate stealing packages on Washburn Street. Police posted the video of the thief and her description on social media. Reports started coming in from people who saw the suspect driving a green Toyota Camry on Ocean Street.
Police said they found the suspect, wearing the same clothes, driving the same car, and with the same small dog in the video. She was detained along with two other people.
Stolen packages were recovered from within the vehicle which it itself appeared to have been stolen.
30-year-old Tiffany McCracken-Liddell of Santa Cruz was arrested for possession of stolen property and possession of a stolen car.
