A member of the santa cruz police department is retiring, after a career spanning most of his life. Jax, the department’s german Sheppard, was honored with a retirement party on Tuesday. jax has served as a k-9 officer for 8-years, alongside his handler, karina cecena. Jax, will spend his retirement with cecena and her family, in santa cruz.
