The Santa Cruz City Council is examining the hiring of a contractor to manage the project for the city at today’s city council meeting. So far, the development is a single-story library beneath multiple floors of housing and adjacent to a multi-story parking garage on top of a city-owned parking lot between Cedar, Lincoln and Cathcart streets.
