Santa Cruz County officials have confirmed a COVID-19 outbreak at an assisted living facility for seniors in Live Oak.
County health officials say the outbreak is at The Maple House II. There are 20 confirmed cases at the facility. Reportedly, 11 are residents and 9 are among the staff.
The outbreak began when a staff member began showing symptoms on Oct. 30. One member of the staff has since been hospitalized, and no one at the facility has died.
