a santa cruz man accused of killing a 30-year old woman appeared in court to be arraigned on thursday. john bruce clauer was charged with the murder of heather stearns after her body was found in his apartment. clauer pleaded not guilty at the hearing held yesterday. he’s due back in court on october 27th.
