A moment of silence will be held in Santa Cruz on Thursday to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Loma Prieta Earthquake.
The Museum of Art and History is coordinating an event at Abbott Square, 118 Cooper St. in Santa Cruz. The moment of silence will take place at 5:04 p.m., when the earthquake struck
The free event runs from Noon until 5:04PM.
