64-year-old Santa Cruz resident Joseph Copeland was last seen at 8:30 a.m. this morning, near Soquel Avenue and the Highway 1 overpass. He was reported missing by Staff members from the Hearts and Hands rehabilitation facility located at 2990 Soquel Avenue, Santa Cruz. Joseph has medical issues that places him at risk if he is not located. He was described as a black male, 6’2″, 158 lbs, with brown eyes, grey hair, green sweat pants, green jacket, red long sleeved shirt, black woven hat and black tennis shoes. Joseph is known to frequent the Coral Street shelter and the Emeline Street facility. The Sheriff’s Office is requesting anyone with information regarding Joseph’s whereabouts to please call Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at (831) 471-1121.
