Billions of federal dollars will be going to transit districts nationwide…..including the Santa Cruz Metro. The Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District will be getting 13.5 million dollars of the Coronavirus Response And Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act. The emergency funding is designed to off-set the decline in ridership during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Santa Cruz Metro operates 102 buses on 26 fixed-routes.
