the santa cruz public library is teaming up with santa cruz rehearsal studios to form a local music database that will pay local artist for rights to their music for a 2 year period. the partnership, known as soundswell, will pay local musician 25 to 1 hundred dollars per an album. the music is to be added to a database which library members can access and download the music tracks for free. for details go to:santacruzrehearsalstudios.wordpress.com
