The Director Of The Santa Cruz Public Library System has announced that she plans to retire at the end of august. Susan Nemitz, who has led the system for 5 years, says she plans to “focus on her health” after she retires. The board members of the Library Joint Powers Authority have announced their plans to appoint Eric Howard, the current Assistant Director Of Libraries, as the Interim Director while they conduct a nationwide search for the system’s next director.
