On the eve of today’s expected vote on two articles of impeachment, hundreds gathered at the Santa Cruz Clock Tower to protest against President Donald Trump. The event, organized by a group called Santa Cruz Indivisible, was one of about 500 pro-impeachment protests held nationwide yesterday.
But the sentiment wasn’t universal. Some passing motorists yelled pro-Trump slogans at those supporting impeachment and removal from office.
