A FORMER SECURITY GUARD AT A SANTA CRUZ HOMELESS SERVICES CENTER, HAS FILED A LAWSUIT AGAINST THE CENTER CLAIMING HE WAS HARASSED AND WRONGFULLY FIRED. AN ATTORNEY REPRESENTING THE FORMER EMPLOYEE SAYS HIS CLIENT, 32-YEAR OLD JEREMY MILLER, WAS TAUNTED WITH RACIAL SLURS BY HOMELESS PEOPLE WHO ATE AND SLEPT AT THE CORAL STREET FACILITY. THE SUIT ALSO INCLUDES DEATH THREATS MADE TO MILLER AND HIS FAMILY. MILLER ALSO CONTENDS HE WASN’T PAID OVERTIME AND DIDN’T HAVE MEAL OR WORK BREAKS. MILLER IS SEEKING AN UNSPECIFIED AMOUNT OF RESTITUTION.
