santa cruz police are looking for a man suspected of a hit and run last night. at 7 p.m. officers responded to reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle the intersection of soquel avenue and dakota street. the vehicle, a blue 1998 honda civic, was recovered later in the night but the driver has not yet been located. the vehicle had been sold but the name had not been changed on the registration, investigators are working to determine the IDENTITY of the suspect. anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the santa cruz police department or on the anonymous crime tip line at 831-420-5995.
