(14:11) SANTA CRUZ- The Santa Cruz Harbor’s dredging operation has been put on hold. The dredging operation was shut down due to engine failure on the workboat Dauntless. The dredge cannot work if it can’t be moved into position and have its anchors rearranged throughout the day, jobs that can only be performed by a workboat. Arraignments have been made to rent a work boat while the Dauntless undergoes repairs. The replacement workboat is expected to arrive sometime this week.
