A Santa Cruz man has been arrested following an investigation. Shortly after 2:30 p.m. a gang task force preparing to execute a search warrant on the 100 block of Felker Street, pulled over the subject of the warrant near La Fonda Avenue. A search of the vehicle uncovered a loaded pistol with an altered serial number. 18 year old Justin Castillo was booked into county jail on weapons charges with gang enhancements.
