Although the Northern California Golf Association continues to run events, the organizers of the 30th annual Santa Cruz City Amateur Golf Tournament at DeLaveaga Golf Course have cancelled their 2020 event. It was scheduled for early next month, but due to the ongoing pandemic, organizers said they decided it was better to cancel it outright, instead of delaying or postponing the tournament. That’s because most of the top players are from out of town, and organizers felt that not holding the tournament would better protect customers, community and staff.
