Clarifying earlier reports, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office says the Harm Reduction Coalition of Santa Cruz has withdrawn its application for more syringe services in the county. That application would have been due for submission tomorrow to the state health department, which notified the sheriff yesterday of the withdrawal.
