Officials with the Santa Cruz Fire Department has donated their fireboat to the Santa Cruz Sea Scouts. The boat has been re-christened as “Bosso” in honor of Jim Bosso who led the troop for 46 years until his death in 2018. The Santa Cruz Sea Scouts hold twice-a-month meetings, and take part in activities ranging from sailing and sea vessel operation, to first-aid and navigation.
