a budget for the upcoming school year was adopted by santa cruz county education trustees at their meeting yesterday. an amendment to the 43-million dollar budget was approved, allowing 1-million dollars for a solar power project at the office’s encinal street headquarters. also discussed at the meeting the decision to hold a second public meeting on the proposed pajaro prepatory academy. that hearing is slated for july 21st.
