It was a peaceful but productive demonstration at the downtown Santa Cruz clock tower earlier this week where more than 100 people marched for a fair election.
The demonstration was organized by “the lighthouse collective” and “Santa Cruz indivisible” to show support for those counting the ballots here in Santa Cruz county and to make sure all election procedures are followed correctly before any winner is declared.
Demonstrators maintained a six foot social distance from one another and altho Santa Cruz police were present, they did not need to step in.
