A Sobriety And Driver’s License Checkpoint is due to be in-place between 1 and 5:30 this afternoon. The location is on Heller Road, east of Empire Grade. The checkpoint is designed to combat losses caused by impaired driving. Funding for this program was provided by U.C. – Santa Cruz.
