The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in finding a potential victim of an attempted carjacking that took place following the murder of a Sheriff’s deputy on June 6, 2020 at the 10000 Block of Highway 9 in Ben Lomond. The Sheriff’s Office has posted several photos of the woman on their Facebook page. The individual witnessed this crime and is not linked to any of the crimes that occurred that day. The District Attorney’s Office would like to contact them to ensure their wellbeing and speak with them as a potential victim and witness to a crime.
