The free Summer Lunch Program (for children up to 18 years-old) kicks-off next Monday at some sites around Santa Cruz county. La Manzana Community Resources, which provides the lunches, is a program of Community Bridges. Last year the program helped serve more than 17,000 meals. The free lunches can be picked up by low-income children, between noon and 1 p.m., at 3 sites in Santa Cruz….and 9 sites in the Freedom and Watsonville area. More information can be found on-line at:
