A man, who threatened (on social media) to shoot up San Jose’s Westfield Valley Fair Mall yesterday afternoon, has been arrested (because of the quick thinking of some Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies, and the rapid response of members of the San Jose Police Department). San Jose police officers reportedly had the man in custody within an hour of when the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Department advised them of the threats.
It helped that the man’s appearance was distinct, and his hair color was unusual….and that he was found in possession of a firearm.
