Santa Cruz County’s request to move forward with reopening has been granted. On Friday the county’s board of supervisors voted to apply for permission to move forward with reopening, and over the weekend, the State approved the county’s request to move forward with stage 2 variances in the covid19 reopening agenda. Restaurants can now provide modified dine in services. Barbershops, hair salons, and other businesses may also be eligible for reopening utilizing covid19 preventive protocols.
